How to get Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, Mac and PC
You won't find Apple Music in the App Store, instead you must update your device to iOS 8.4. This can be done by going to Settings, followed by General, selecting Software Update, and clicking on the Download and Install button.
Once complete, click on the white Music icon on your home screen. You will be given the option to either go to your music or to begin your free three-month trial of Apple Music. If you click the trial button you will be asked to choose a membership type (either individual or family), sign in, agree to Apple's terms of use and confirm your purchase (you won't actually be billed until after 90 days). This will give you access to the on-demand portion of the streaming service and features such as unlimited skips and saving music for offline listening.
Even if you don't sign up for the trial, as long as you are signed in with your Apple ID account, you can still access the free Beats 1 radio station, follow musicians on Connect, and listen to Apple Music radio stations (with ads).

Here’s Why You Should Consider Dropping WhatsApp in Favor of LINE Messenger for Instant Messaging
When the Electronic Frontier Foundation released its report regarding the online privacy and security matters of big tech companies, WhatsApp was among the flops.
This revelation was based on the level of transparency these companies show their users as well as how protective they can be with their data. One company that received so much criticism was WhatsApp, which recently reached more than 800 million users per month. These people exchange billions of messages that carry texts, photos, videos, locations, contacts as well as voice notes. Now that WhatsApp can no longer be trusted with our data, which alternative can do just that?
LINE Messenger
LINE Messenger is a Japanese-based instant messaging app that has gained popularity in Asia, especially in countries like Japan and Thailand. The app first came into being during the 2011 earthquake in Japan but since then, it has moved on to become a top provider of not just instant messaging, but also voice and video calling.
LINE has more than 600 million users from around the world, which is 200 million shy of WhatsApp’s total user base. The app, just like WhatsApp, can be installed on a variety of platforms that include Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Nokia, Firefox OS as well as BlackBerry phones. In addition, there are no known compatibility issues as far as LINE Messenger and OS X, Windows and Linux operating systems are concerned. This is one major reason this application is continuously gaining users from all angles of the world.
WhatsApp Has the Worst Data Privacy and Security Levels, Dropbox, Adobe and Apple Top the EFF Charts
Today, almost everyone keeps their personal information on the internet.
As a result, there is a need for the companies holding this data to make sure that it is protected and that the privacy of the owners is respected to the fullest.
In case of any minor glitch, you will find all of your sensitive information ending up in a place you had never wished. In helping the users understand the privacy and security levels afforded to their data by different technology companies, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) released its 5th report regarding the “Who Has Your Back” initiative. Some of the results were amazing, while at the same time, there was some disappointing news for other major players such as WhatsApp and Google.
WhatsApp has more than 800 million users, exchanging more than 64 billion messages per day
WhatsApp is probably the most used app today. With a user base of more than 800 million people who send more than 64 billion messages on a single day, this is a lot of information and data that goes through this app. Now that the EFF 2015 report revealed that WhatsApp is among the worst performing apps in terms of user data privacy and security, it suggests that the users’ information may be at risk.
There was some comforting news for the current owner of WhatsApp, which only managed a 4-star rating. However, its closest competitor Google dropped its rating to 3 stars. This means that the level of transparency between this company and the users of their products has drastically reduced from last year’s, which was at its best. Other major players to receive a 4-star rating were Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn and Pinterest. On the other hand, Microsoft, Snapchat and Tumblr were among those who joined Google in the 3-star rating category.

Apple Watch can be a real life assistant and advisor for many of its users. It has various health related features that will make sure that your health is kept fine. One of its features is tracking your heart beat. It will provide you rate of your heart beat in per minute basis. This rate can be viewed directly on the Watch or to properly track its performance a graphical illustration is also made by time. If you are health conscious then this feature is of great importance to you.
There are two different ways from which you can track your heartbeat rate on your Apple Watch. One of it is monitoring your heart rate periodically directly on the Watch then other is continuous tracking of your heart rate through the fitness app on the Watch.
Checking Periodic Heart Rate Directly from the Watch
You can easily take a glance at your heart rate by using your Watch whenever you feel like. You can do that by swiping up on the clock and then swiping left or right until you find the Heart Rate monitoring glance. Once the glance is active, it will take few seconds to read the pulse of the user and then will display the heart rate in BPM with an animated heart.
This heart rate will vary by time as you will notice. You will notice an increase if you are on fatty diet or into moving too much or exercising. You can view decrease in heart rate whenever you are in resting mode.
Checking Heart Rate Continuously on Apple Watch with Fitness App
Another reason to keep an eye on your heart rate is to use the Fitness app especially when you forget to check the glance quite often. Fitness app will keep a track of your heart rate all day long. This feature will help you in achieving your desired heart rate by managing your activities and diet. If you do not have any plans to achieve any desired heart rate then still this feature could be of help if you want to track your heart rate during any piece of activity you are carrying out including running on treadmill or walking around in the neighborhood. Follow these steps to carry out heart rate tracking:
- From main screen of Apple Watch tap on green Fitness icon
- Choose the activity that you are planning to carry out from the given options

- Once it is completed you will view the glance screen with time mentioned on top and your heart rate in BPM at the bottom of your screen
Force Touch – What is This New Feature of the iPhone 6S Everyone is Talking About?
Force Touch is a feature that debuted with the 2015 version of Mac and was also implemented in the Apple Watch that was released this year.
It is a nifty feature, and according to several reports, it might make its way to the iPhone 6S, the flagship that the Cupertino based company will release this year.
What is Force Touch and How Does it Work?
Force Touch is actually a sensor that is hidden beneath the capacitive screen of the phone. The sensors determine the force you use when you press the screen. Depending of the force you use, the screen displays different menus and display options. The features uses electrodes that are placed on and around the display to distinguish your press, whether it is hard and long press, or just a tap. The feature provides and displays actions accordingly.
Some Force Touch Options
In order to get a better view and understanding of the Force Touch, we can name several actions that are available with the feature on the Mac and on the Apple Watch. It is unknown whether all, or just some and other new features will be available for the iPhone 6S; but it is always nice to know what you can expect.
For example, using Force Touch, you can click on any portion of text on a webpage and get Look up results for the text from reliable sources like Wikipedia and Dictionary. When you force click an address, for example, the feature will provide a Maps preview. Force clicking on dates and events adds them to the Calendar application automatically. While in the message conversation, you can force click the sidebars for details and attachments in the message, or click the icon of the “buddy” to see his/her contact card. Force clicking a reminder will show the details of the event.
Some other advanced force touch tricks include applying pressure for fast forward in QuickTime or iMovie. You can also accelerate the speed of map zooming. Press harder on the zoom button to do so. You can apply force touch on browsing photos as well. When you use force touch in Photos app or in the Albums, a force touch will arrow the photos faster.
The Price Factor
According to rumors, the Force Touch will work on a different way than it works on the Apple Watch and the Mac. For example, on the Apple Watch and the Mac, the Force Touch feature senses pressure. However, on the iPhone 6S and other iPhone versions that will follow, the Force Touch will monitor the area where you press and determine the “level” of the pressure. The implementation is different, but the concept is the same. However, the difference will result in higher price for Apple to implement it. According to reports, the iPhone 6S Force Touch will be 2.5 times more expensive than the one for the Apple Watch. The higher price might result in higher price for the iPhone 6S.
